Mark Your Calendars for Fall 2021 DE Training Registration

Fall 2021 DE Registration Date

Since 1982, the Foundation’s Credit Union Development Education (DE) Program has inspired credit union professionals and advocates to leverage the unique business model of credit unions and serve our members and communities in new and better ways. While many trainings focus on the “what” and “how” of credit union service and operations, the DE Program focuses on exploring the “why”. Over the course of training, DE participants will engage in lessons focused on the credit union difference, development issues, and empathy. Upon completion of the DE Program, individuals receive their CUDE designation and join thousands of DEs worldwide.

In 2020, in order to meet credit unions where they are now, the Foundation transitioned the DE Program to a virtual learning environment. Over 4 weeks, participants will engage in a mix of on-demand and live learning sessions. Live learning sessions will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays between the hours of 10 AM – 4 PM CT for the duration of training.

We continue to monitor COVID-19 health & safety guidelines, as well as work with our partners at both CUNA and the University of Wisconsin to determine the best way to offer DE Training. We know that many are eager to return to in-person training and we are confident that we can return to in-person DE Training stronger than ever very soon.

Due to the experiential nature of DE Training, fall DE Training will be held in our virtual learning environment from October 18-November 12, 2021.

This fall’s DE Training is sold out. If you would like to be added to the waiting list or notified about 2022 sessions, please email Maggie Wolff, Development Education Manager, at [email protected].
