Josh Taddy

Accounting Manager | (608) 231-4025

Josh is a UW Whitewater graduate with a BBA in Accounting and Finance with emphasis in Financial Planning. He is the first person in his family to graduate college, and has been working in the accounting field ever since. Josh is new to the credit union movement, working recently in accounts payable for Spectrum Brands and Great Wolf Lodge Resorts. He joined the Foundation in 2018 because he strongly believes in the mission, goals and the work that the Foundation does to improve people's financial lives through credit unions. He was greatly impressed with everything the Foundation does, from the Biz Kid$ program which teaches middle school-high school kids the important knowledge of managing finances, to disaster relief, giving back to credit union people when disaster strikes. Josh believes that the Foundation makes a huge impact on peoples lives and on society in general, and the excitement that everyone has in the mission makes the work of the Foundation even more full of purpose.

Passions: Rock music festivals, learning more about how cars work and fix them, diagnostics and analytics - for example, I love being able to analyze a situation and diagnose a problem by taking things apart, finding the problem and finding the solution. I also love to travel and find new experiences, I would love to try skydiving one day!

Inspiration: What inspires me everyday is creating a better life for me and the people around me. Giving back to the community is also a source of inspiration for me, as I have worked with Habitat for Humanity and plan to volunteer more and give back locally.

Favorite food: Chicken enchiladas - specifically, the recipe I was taught to make growing up... better than any restaurant (although I may be bias).

Favorite quote: "Speak softly and carry a big stick" - Theodore Roosevelt

First concert: Motley Crue!

Did you know? I want to work towards a private pilots license so I can fly from place to place and have freedom of the skies! Also, trivia question: For anyone who has seen the Netflix hit "Making a Murderer", that happened in my hometown while I was a senior in high school. I do not know the people in the case personally, but I am certainly familiar with the case!
