The National Credit Union Foundation is excited to provide credit unions with a brand-new, free learning resource called Exploring Our Values.
Exploring Our Values is a self-guided course designed for credit union employees at any level of the organization. The course is designed to teach the fundamentals of credit unions’ cooperative structure, principles and history using key lessons from the signature Development Education (DE) Program.
Exploring Our Values helps you reflect on how your role and values intersect with the mission of your organization and broader credit union movement to reinforce the “why” behind the work you do every day. Now more than ever, it’s critical that we remain inspired and energized by the credit union difference to effectively serve our members and communities.
In a time when credit unions are stepping up as leaders in their communities to serve members when they need it most, this resource serves as a reminder for why that work is so important. The credit union difference is alive and well and Exploring Our Values can help credit unions to continue helping members face their daily challenges.
This course can be used for learning purposes such as new hire onboarding, staff learning days, individual professional development and more. Its self-guided format is perfect for our current virtual learning environment to work through at your own pace.
