|  Linking credit unions’ past and present, the Development Education (DE) program brings renewed relevance to credit unions’ seven cooperative principles and the philosophy of “people helping people.” People from all parts of the movement participate in a six-day total immersion experience to become certified Credit Union Development Educators (CUDEs). Once they earn this designation, CUDEs return to their jobs with a sense of personal enrichment and renewed energy to share what they learned.

|  The National Credit Union Foundation is the largest sponsor in the America's Credit Unions group underwriting the Biz Kid$ financial education series on national public television through PBS. Every episode begins and ends with an America's Credit Unions visual in a classroom, with a narrator reminding viewers that "Production funding for Biz Kid$ is provided by America’s Credit Unions, where people are worth more than money.” |

|  When a major disaster strikes credit union people, the National Credit Union Foundation raises disaster relief donations to support credit union employees, volunteers and members who suffer unrecoverable losses. To prepare for all future disasters, the Foundation developed CUAid (www.CUAid.coop), the credit union movement's online disaster relief fundraising system. |
